Started her up tonight and there is still a tick on an oil change with about 30 miles on it. I decided to drain 1 quart of oil out and added LUCAS oil treatment. It seems to have helped and my wife says it wouldn't bother her but to me it still seems loud. I drove it about 5 miles so I am thinking about driving it to work tomorrow which is about 100 miles round trip to see if this helps clear it up. I am about to the point of tearing the engine down and checking the clearance between the cam lobes and lifters and proceed with rebuilding the lifters again. Any thoughts???
